There are so many options of where to stay when you visit Walt Disney World. When planning your trip there is a lot to think about. Money, time, magic ~ I am going to give you just the top 5 reasons to stay at a Walt Disney World Resort.
1. Fast Pass+ Reservations
Fast Passes allow you to ride the most popular rides without the long line. Yes, everyone who visits Disney has access to fast passes. However, only people who stay at a Disney Resort have access to them 60 days before they check in. That means you can plan your rides before everyone else in the park that day. This allows you to choose the rides that are most important to your family before you even get there.
2. Staying In The Magic
This is my favorite reason to stay at a Walt Disney Resort. No matter what you are looking for I promise Disney has a resort for you. Disney is known for attention to detail, and their Resorts are no exception. They have something for everyone, and on every budget. Not to mention, with cast members to help take care of you, you are sure to have a Magical Day.
3. Transportation
Disney World is big, but no worries, if you stay on site all transportation is complimentary. So you can get anywhere and everywhere you want to go for free. There are busses, boats, the Monorail, and the brand new Skyliner to take you everywhere and anywhere. The great thing about Disney transportation is not only does it takes you where you need to be, but it is an experience in itself. We just rode the Skyliner for the first time on our last trip and it was fantastic.
4. Disney Purchases Delivered to Your Room
Imagine you are at the park for the day and you do a little shopping. The kids want a big stuffed character, you bought the crystal piece you wanted. There is no need to carry these around all day, just ask the shop to sent these back to your hotel room. This is free, and is a great perk to have all your in park purchases magically appear in your Disney Resort room.
5. The Disney Dining Plan
This is not a necessity but I really love it. The Dining Plan allows you to pay for your complete trip before you step foot inside the park. There are different options and they include a set number of meals and snacks per day. You will know up front exactly what your trip will cost. Guests do not need to purchase this plan but I suggest you read about The Disney Dining Plan and choose what works best for your family.
